Students have higher stress levels than half the population. By introducing and bringing yoga into our schools, we not only lower stress levels across the board, but promote calm and focus. By utilizing yoga, breath, and mindfulness... you can train your mind, and your body, to focus, remain calm, and stay present. Recent studies now show that students who practiced yoga and/or meditation regularly had increased academic performance, better overall health, better attendance, more attentive and focused in the classroom, higher test scores and GPA’s.
